Chess Board With Pieces
The chess board boxes in this gallery all come with chess pieces like those shown. Some of the boxes have smaller squares, and the pieces are also smaller. All pieces are made with walnut and maple, as are the squares in some of the boxes. Others have poplar and walnut squares. The boxes are made from a variety of woods.
Cherry Chess Board
This one is a bit different, with leather hinges and a leather strap to open the box. Squares are 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch, and are made of walnut and maple. The pieces are 1 inch x 1 inch. 14-3/8 inches x 14-3/8 inches x 2 inches. $350.

The board fits inside the box, with a tab for lifting the lid. Squares are 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch, and are made of poplar and walnut. The pieces that are 1 inch x 1inch. 14.5 inches x 14.5 inches x 2-1/8 inches. $350.
Bocote Chess Box
Squares are 1inch x 1inch, and are made of walnut and maple. The pieces are 0.75 inch x 0.75 inch x various heights. 12-5/8inches x 12-5/8 inches x 2-5/8 inches. $350
Mahogany Chess Board
Squares are 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch, and made of poplar and walnut. The pieces are 1 inch x 1 inch x various heights. Box is 14.5 inches x 14.5 inches x 3 inches. $380.
White Oak Chess Board
Squares are 1 inch x 1 inch, and are made of walnut and maple. The pieces are 0.75 inch x 0.75 inch x various heights. 12.5 inches x 12.5 inches x 3 inches. $350.
Tigerwood Chess Board
Squares are 1 inch x 1 inch, and are made of walnut and maple. The pieces are 0.75 inch x 0.75 inch x various heights. 12-3/4 inches x 12-3/4 inches x 2-3/4 inches. $350.
Monkey Pod Chess Board
Squares are 1 inch x 1 inch and made of walnut and maple. The pieces are 0.75 inch x 0.75 inch x various heights. Box measurements to come. $350
Marble Chase Game Board
Made with 6 different woods. The home regions are (starting top left and going clockwise) cherry, padouk, walnut and purple heart. The road way is tigerwood, and the white regions are maple. Epoxy of different colors is also used. The board is 26 inches wide. The holes are 0.75 inch in diameter, so 1 inch marbles are recommended. $450.
