This sofa table was commissioned by clients after they saw the padauk coffee table with epoxy river.. They wanted a sofa/hall table that was 30″ high, 48″ long and 18″ wide. The top is made from a bookmatched piece of padauk with sapwood and live edges, but with the live edges turned inward to form the banks of the epoxy `river’. The stones are jade-colored pebbles on black sand.. The legs of the table are made from cumaru (a South American wood). The lower shelf is also bookmatched padauk with sapwood and live edges.
